A man in his 50s has been charged in connection with the murder of Tina Satchwell.
He had been arrested on Thursday following the discovery of human remains at a property in Co Cork and was charged on Friday evening.
He is due to appear before a special sitting of Cashel District Court at 10.30am on Saturday morning.
The human remains were discovered at a property on Grattan Street in Youghal after a search there began on Tuesday.
The remains were located on Wednesday and were taken to Cork University Hospital for examination.
On Friday, it was confirmed that dental records had been used to match the remains to Tina Satchwell.
Ms Satchwell was last seen alive in March 2017.
It is understood the remains were discovered in a walled-up area under a stairwell, and it is believed some renovation work has been carried out on the property.
