There were a total of 461 patients waiting for a bed at Irish hospitals on Tuesday morning.
The INMO (Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation) Trolley Watch figures show 310 patients were waiting in emergency departments, while 151 were in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

There were a total of 80 patients waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick, 47 at Cork University Hospital, 43 at University Hospital Galway, and 32 at Mayo University Hospital.
