573 admitted patients were waiting for beds on Monday morning, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation's (INMO's) Trolley Watch.

438 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 135 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

At University Hospital Limerick, 100 admitted patients are waiting for beds. 45 of these are in the emergency department, with 55 in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

58 patients are waiting at University Hospital Galway, 45 of whom are in the hospital's emergency department.

At Cork University Hospital, 42 admitted patients are waiting for beds. 38 are waiting in the emergency department, with four in wards elsewhere.

Eight patients are waiting for beds at Temple Street Children's University Hospital.

32 admitted patients are waiting in the emergency department of the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, with 25 waiting in the emergency departments of both Beaumont Hospital and St James's Hospital.

29 patients are waiting for beds at Sligo University Hospital and 26 are waiting at both Mayo University Hospital and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
