Alleged assaults on homeless asylum seekers in Dublin are being condemned.
Dublin Communities Against Racism said the attacks happened at a derelict property on Ormond Quay twice in 24 hours.
Gardaí are investigating two separate disturbances at the property shortly before 10.30pm on Friday night and again on Saturday afternoon.
Two men were brought to the Mater Hospital to be treated for injuries after Saturday's disturbance.
Dublin Communities Against Racism spokesperson Damien Farrell said they have since left hospital.
Mr Farrell told Newstalk: "The incident that took place on Saturday afternoon/early evening, resulted in two people being hospitalised. One required surgery.
"Both have been discharged since then, we understand. But essentially it was kind of like a follow-up. We're not sure whether the two incidents were connected."
