Friday's front pages focus on a range of stories from those who were working while receiving the Pandemic Unemployment Payment doubling to 1,100 social homes stuck in the planning system.
The Irish Times report the number of people believed to have received the Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP) at times they were working has “increased quite significantly”, with the estimate more than doubling to between 50,000 and 60,000 people.
The Irish Examiner lead with a piece about more than 1,100 social homes being stuck in the same phase of the planning system for the three-and-a-half-year period that the Government has been in power.
