The Irish Times front page leads with a story about Simon Harris commenting on compensation for abuse victims, a story about the Grenfell Tower fire enquiry, a story about children lacking basic clothing and food, and a picture of Katie-George Dunlevy and Linda Kelly who won a gold medal for Team Ireland at the Paralympics.
The Irish Examiner leads with a story about gardaí investigating sex abuse ring claims, alongside a story about a rise in young families living in poverty, a story about the Grenfell Tower fire enquiry, a story about Simon Harris's Ukraine visit, and a picture of Ireland's gold Paralympic medal winners.
The Irish Independent leads with a story on how alleged abusers moved between special schools, according to a report, and a picture of Ireland's gold medal winners at the Paralympics.
The Echo leads with a story about a final decision being due on the future of a hotel in Blarney, alongside a story about a dangerous driving case, a court case on pub arson, and a picture of Tánaiste Micheál Martin welcoming Navy vessels.
The Irish Daily Mail leads with a story saying that child benefit payment is to rise in October's budget.
The Herald leads with a story on a garda investigation into an aggravated burglary.
The Irish Daily Mirror leads with a Garda investigation into abuse at church-run schools.
The Irish Daily Star leads with a story about a Junior Certificate book that was axed, alongside a story about the school abuse investigation.
Meanwhile, the outcome of the enquiry into the Grenfell Tower fire, in which 72 people died, dominates the front pages of Thursday’s UK newspapers.
Several titles carry pictures of the victims, both The UK Times and The Guardian saying “dishonesty and greed” was behind the 2017 disaster.

The Metro calls the fire a “26-year countdown to disaster” after warning signs were ignored, saying all 72 deaths were avoidable – a sentiment echoed on the front of The UK Independent.

The victims were “killed by dishonesty, indifference and complacency” according to the Daily Express, while the Financial Times says the inquiry found “official failings and industry deceits” led to the tragedy.
