Here are the biggest stories leading Thursday’s front pages.

A wide array of stories feature on the front pages of Irish newspapers on Thursday, including research on Irish house prices and buying trends, as well reporting on the Champions League.

The Irish Times leads with the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) saying Irish house prices are overvalued by up to 10 per cent.

Also featuring on the front page is suspended Social Democrats TD Eoin Hayes returning €1,500 of a €2,500 donation he received on the fundraising website GoFundMe, where he raised over €8,000 for his general election campaign in Dublin Bay South.

The ESRI research on house prices also features on the Irish Examiner's front page, as well as staff at Cork University Maternity Hospital (CUMH) saying they are seeing pregnant victims of domestic abuse every week.

The Echo reports on Cork University Hospital having less staff in October than it did in August, according to its latest staff census.

The launch of the live animal crib at Dublin's Mansion House features on the Irish Independent's front page on Thursday, as well as the ESRI research on housing revealing that first time buyers' mortgage costs are approaching "danger levels" not seen since the Celtic Tiger.

The Irish Daily Mail leads with the ferry route from Holyhead to Dublin being closed for five days due to damage from Storm Darragh, leading to panic among retailers.

Manchester City's loss to Juventus in the Champions League features on the front page of the Irish Daily Star, as well as a story of a garda "harrassing" a colleague with a phobia by leaving fruit all over the station.

The Irish Daily Mirror leads with gardaí investigating the murder of Kyran Durnin who are fighting to break a wall of silence around his death.

The Herald also reports on Manchester City's Champions League loss, as well as Frank McCann being refused parole after spending nearly 30 years behind bars for the murder of his wife and foster daughter.

In the UK...

A father and stepmother found guilty of the murder of Sara Sharif leads Thursday’s front pages.

Metro, The Sun, the Daily Express and the Daily Mirror all lead with the guilty verdict of Urfan Sharif and his wife, Beinash Batool, in the tragic death of the “cheerful little soul”.

The Daily Mail and The Times both focus on the “missed chances” to save Sara.

The i reports an independent review will take place to examine what could have been done to protect her.

The Daily Telegraph says the Government has been accused of wanting to “bulldoze through the home counties” as Angela Rayner prepares to unveil a massive overhaul of planning rules.

The Financial Times leads on Qatar’s 500 billion dollar (£391 billion) sovereign wealth fund preparing to invest “aggressively” ahead of an incoming windfall.

More than 10,000 public sector jobs could be slashed as part of the Government’s new “efficiency drive”, according to The Guardian.
