A woman in her 80s has died following a collision in Co Clare.
The two-car collision happened on the R473 near Kilcarroll close to Kilrush at around 2pm on Sunday afternoon.

The driver and sole occupant of one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body has been removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick.
No other injuries were reported
Gardaí are appealing for any witness to come forward
