Gardaí are at the scene of a shooting incident which took place in Dublin.
The shooting occurred at approximately 1pm on Saturday in an apartment in the Bluebell area of Inchicore, Dublin 8.

A woman in her 30s received gunshot wounds and was taken to St James' Hospital by ambulance for treatment. Gardaí described her condition as serious.
A short time later a man in his early 30s also attended St James' Hospital with gunshot wounds. His condition was also described as serious.
The scene is currently preserved while Garda Forensic Investigators carry out a technical examination.
