Gardaí appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted by a number of men in Ballyfermot.
She was taken to St James's Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaí in Ballyfermot are investigating all the circumstances of a number of incidents that occurred in the Dublin 20 area on the afternoon of Thursday 9th November.
It's reported that shortly before 4:20pm, a number of incidents, including dangerous driving, involving a white flatbed van and a second white van (a Volkswagen Caddy), occurred on the N4 in Palmerstown, causing extensive damage to both vehicles.
An occupant of one of these vehicles, a woman in her 30s, was then assaulted by a number of men at a retail premises nearby a short time later.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to either of these incidents to come forward.
In particular, gardaí are appealing to any road users travelling on the N4 in Palmerstown between 4pm and 4:30pm who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) to make this available to them.
Anyone who observed the movements of a white flatbed van and a white Volkswagen Caddy van are also asked to come forward.
Gardaí are also looking to speak to any person who observed a silver Nissan jeep driving dangerously between 4pm and 4:30pm yesterday, Thursday November 9th, on the N4 in the vicinity of Palmerstown.
