A young man has been killed in a single-vehicle road traffic collision in Co Cork.
Gardaí attended the scene of the collision at Gortnalahee in Carrignavar shortly before 7am on Wednesday morning.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a man aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí said the road remains closed in order to allow for a technical examination of the crash site to take place. Local diversions are in place.
