Ahead of Valentine's Day 2022, Adare Manor has been named as one of the most romantic hotels in the world.
The Co Limerick hotel was ranked number 27 in the top 50 list of the most romantic hotels compiled by Big 7 Travel.
Adare Manor came behind other hotels such as the Amangiri hotel located in Utah in the US which ranked number one, the Shinta Mani Wild in Cambodia and Longitude 131º in Australia.
Hotel inclusions were ranked based on several factors, including properties with high Tripadvisor review scores from couples, unique "romantic" experiences, destination, room facilities and luxury.
Adare Manor, which is located on a 840-acre estate, was highlighted for its "gourmet food" and "warm hospitality".
Prospective guests at the five-star hotel were advised to go for "a candlelit five-course meal in The Oak Room, enjoy delicious Irish whiskey with one of their many tasting options in addition to relaxing together in one of their spacious suites".
