Grammy-nominated group Big Country have announced they will play two Irish gigs later this year, visiting Dublin and Belfast in December.
The band's top-hits include Look Away, Fields of Fire, and Chance, while their album The Crossing was nominated for three Grammy awards.
Founded in 1981 by Stuart Adamson and Bruce Watson in their Scottish hometown of Dunfermline, the pair were joined by drummer Mark Brzezicki and bass player Tony Butler, and quickly gained recognition with their signature song, In A Big County.
Following Adamson's death in 2001, the band's line-up now consists of Watson, Brzezicki, Jamie Watson, Gil Allan, and Simon Hough.
The group will play Belfast Limelight on December 15th, before performing at the Button Factory on December 16th.
Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased on the Ticketmaster website.
