The much-loved outdoor festival, now in its sixteenth year, is set to take place from June 2nd-6th.

This will be the first time since 2019 that Bloom will be held in person after two virtual events due to the pandemic.

Here are some of the top things to do at this year's festival...

1. Taste the best of Irish food at the Bloom Food Village

Bloom's Food Village is set to welcome over 80 of Ireland’s leading food producers, so it is not to be missed.

From chocolate to smoked salmon, cheese to beetroot juice, artisan sausages, fresh vegetables and meats, coffee and jams – it will be a feast for the senses.

Meanwhile, the Bloom Inn will be showcasing the best of craft spirits and brews.

There will be opportunities to sample products on the go, as well as a sneak peek at new products launching exclusively at the festival.

2. See the spectacular show gardens

There will be 19 spectacular show gardens forming the centrepiece of this year’s event.

Described as the "jewel in the crown" of Bloom, the show gardens are one of the most popular attractions providing inspiration and entertainment for all ages.

The gardens are a source of imaginative story-telling and creative concepts which address important local and global issues such as the environment, human health, sustainable food production and housing.

While browsing the gardens, festival goers can enjoy special guests, panel discussions and musical performances.

3. Head to the Sculpture Garden to enjoy the arts

Returning to Bloom for a seventh year, the Sculpture Garden celebrates Irish art, design and craftsmanship.

There will be over 60 pieces of sculpture showcased in a garden setting curated by Ruth Liddle and Ken Folan from the Kildare Gallery at Carton House.

This year's exhibition includes the themes of wild swimming, wildlife and the colour orange - the colour of innovation and joy.

4. Watch a live cookery demonstration

Bloom's Quality Kitchen stage will host some of Ireland’s leading chefs as they give live cookery demonstrations.

Some big names set to grace the stage include Neven Maguire, Rory O’Connell, Fiona Uyema, Catherine Fulvio, Edward Hayden, Gary O’Hanlon, Shane Smith, Mark Moriarty, JP McMahon and Brian McDermot.

Food lovers can also stop by the Eat Well Kitchen Garden, a new feature garden at this year’s event.

Chefs including Kwanghi Chan and Niall Sabongi will be there to provide sample dishes and more.

5. Experience a workshop

The Irish Craft Village brings together some of Ireland’s most creative designers and makers.

Festival goers can experience the magic of seeing a skilled craftsperson transform raw materials into a finished design before their eyes and take home a piece of Ireland’s living design culture.

The Conservation Zone, where 12 charities and organisations will host talks and workshops over the weekend, is also not to be missed.
