Eight-time All-Ireland winning footballer Philly McMahon has confirmed he and his wife are expecting their first child.
Posting on Instagram, the Dubliner shared a picture of himself, his wife Sarah and their two dogs, with the caption: "When four becomes five," adding emojis of a bottle and baby.

The couple married in December 2019 in Co Kildare.
McMahon added the pair were "celebrating with a coffee and scone", tagging Fancy That, a coffee shop owned by his teammate Dean Rock and his partner, Niamh McEvoy.
Republic of Ireland international James McClean and comedian Jason Byrne were among those who congratulated the couple on their news.
