Kendall Jenner opened the Versace spring/summer 2024 show at Milan Fashion Week modelling a white satin mini dress and silver Mary Jane flats.
The model and reality TV star carried a white bag as she walked the mirrored runway, her hair styled in a half-up ‘do with a white bow on top.
Jenner’s close friend Gigi Hadid modelled the penultimate look, a green Grecian style gown.
The shimmering asymmetrical dress was teamed with perspex mule sandals.
Hadid was followed by Claudia Schiffer, who closed the show in a silver and green metallic dress with lace detailing.
The German supermodel – who first appeared on the Versace catwalk in the Nineties – wore silver court heels with the form-fitting gown.
Donatella Versace was clearly riffing on a Sixties theme for spring/summer.
The designer sent out a slew of satin shift dresses in pastel tones as well as a variety of prim skirt suits in similar hues.
Several looks were presented by a trio of models, such as the powder pink, baby blue and mint green check tailored looks styled with matching handbags.
Checkerboard print (mirrored on the catwalk) featured heavily in a collection that was demure by Versace standards.
The famed Italian fashion house is known for high-octane glamour, bold colours and sexy dresses.
For SS24, tailored jackets came with rounded shoulders and were buttoned up to the neck.
Pyjama-style coords were loose and boxy – although the super-short shorts flashed a lot of leg.
In the second half of the show there was more of the after-dark glam one would expect from the luxury label.
Party looks included citrus-bright minidresses, cut-out LBDs and a shimmering black crop top and miniskirt.
The catwalk also featured a considerably more diverse model cast than most at Milan Fashion Week – plus-size model Precious Lee looked sensational in a sheer lime green check and floral print shirt and pencil skirt.
After Schiffer had taken her turn on the runway, Donatella Versace appeared briefly and was greeted with applause from the audience.
