Lego has released its largest set ever- a replica of the Colosseum in Rome in time to make Christmas lists around the world.
The 9,036-piece set is expected to retail for just under €500 when it goes on sale from Friday, November 27th but will not be available to purchase until November 27th.

Previously, the largest set made by the toy manufacturer was a replica of the Star Wars Millennium Falcon, with over 7,500 pieces.
Knocking the starship off the top spot, Lego claims the Colosseum set "captures every architectural detail of the original amphitheatre".
The Colosseum set it recommended for adults 18 and over and can be found on the Lego website.
