French automaker Peugeot-Citroen is recalling 100,000 cars from across Europe to change accelerator pedals on two models.

French automaker Peugeot-Citroen is recalling 100,000 cars from across Europe to change accelerator pedals on two models.

The company says it will write to owners of the Citroen C1 and Peugeot 107 models built between 2005 and 2009.

Toyota - which uses the same pedals on some of its models - announced a recall of some 4.2 million cars and trucks on Friday.
