Qumas, Irish developer of Enterprise Compliance Management solutions for regulated industries has opened its new headquarters in Cork.

The dedication was led by Tánaiste, Mary Harney who said that "Qumas is recognised as a pioneer and market leader in the provision of software solutions which provide cost savings and efficiencies for users when managing regulatory documentation".

Qumas provides electronic solutions to help pharmaceutical and other companies to manage large volumes of documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.

In a press release issued earlier this week, Paul Hands, CEO, announced that 2001 had been the company's best year ever.

Corporate revenues increased 90% over the year 2000, and staff numbers had doubled.

Qumas have been awarded a number of honours in 2001, including appearing in the Deloitte and Touche Technology Fast 50 Awards, software Magazine's Software 500 and also claimed runner-up in the Irish Software Association's Company of the Year and Marketing Innovation for the Year categories.

Hands announced that Qumas are looking forward to another 'record-breaking year for 2002'.
