The body of a missing fisherman has been recovered from the sea in Co Wexford.

A search was sparked overnight after the man failed to return from a fishing trip and the Coastguard found his remains in the sea near Cullenstown this morning.

It is understood the man was still wearing a lifejacket.

His body has now been brought to Waterford Regional Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out.
