The search for a man who fell from a cliff in Co Kerry has been called off for the night.

The search for a man who fell from a cliff in Co Kerry has been called off for the night.

The man fell from a cliff near Dingle just before three this afternoon, and was swept out to sea at Brandon Creek.

A lifeboat, coastguard helicopter and local rescue units have been involved in the search, which was suspended after darkness fell.

It is expected efforts will recommence in the morning.
