Shamrock Rovers have opened up a three-point lead at the top of the SSE Airtricity Premier Division after this evening’s top of the table clash.
Rovers were tied one-all with St Pat’s at half-time at Tallaght Stadium. Rovers first took the lead with a strike from Danny Mandroiu, but John Mountney had the equaliser for Pat's shortly before the break.
The second half was the decider as it saw two more scores for the Rovers courtesy of both Mandroiu and Roberto Lopes.
