Republic of Ireland midfielder Alan Browne has tested positive for Covid-19 following the 3-0 friendly defeat to England last night.
The Preston North End star played the full 90 minutes at Wembley.
He is the second Ireland player to test positive for coronavirus during the current international break.
West Brom striker Callum Robinson was ruled out of all three Ireland games after testing positive as Ireland prepared for the clash with Gareth Southgate's side.
Like Robinson, Browne will now be unavailable for the UEFA Nations League clashes with Wales and Bulgaria.
Isolated
The FAI said Browne has now been isolated from the group in line with Covid-19 regulations, adding that the HSE and UEFA have been notified.
They said Browne had no close contacts and that the rest of the players and staff had tested negative ahead of the game against Wales in Cardiff on Sunday.
Stephen Kenny is now six games without a victory since taking over as Ireland boss, he will be hoping to put this right at the weekend.
Ireland then face Bulgaria at the Aviva Stadium on Wednesday, November 18th.
