Ciarán Frawley is set to make his first Six Nations start from fullback as Ireland make several changes to the side to face Wales on Saturday.
Frawley, who has also played at centre and fly-half for Leinster, comes in for the injured Hugo Keenan, who picked up an injury in the win over Italy.
Tadhg Furlong comes back into the front row, alongside Dan Sheehan and Andrew Porter.
Tadhg Beirne also comes back into the side to start alongside Joe McCarthy, with James Ryan dropping back to the bench.
Peter O'Mahony comes back into the starting 15 to captain the side, with Josh van der Flier in from the start, with Caelan Doris back at number eight.
Jamison Gibson-Park partners Jack Crowley at half-back, with Bundee Aki back at inside centre.
In the replacements, Ireland revert back to the 6/2 bench that was used against France, with Munster prop Oli Jager set to make his debut.
Ryan Baird and Jack Conan will cover the back-row, with Stuart McCloskey named as the replacement back on the bench.
After being left out of the squad to face Italy, Conor Murray will provide the scrum-half cover.
