Conor McGregor has confirmed his next fight will be against Dustin Poirier on July 10th.
McGregor, 32, will be looking for revenge in the trilogy fight after he was knocked out by the 32-year-old at UFC 257 in January.
It was the first time the 'Notorious' had suffered a knockout defeat in the octagon.
In their first fight in 2014, McGregor took less than two minutes to knock out the American.
It had previously been reported that the pair had signed on for a third meeting at UFC 264 in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas but McGregor has now confirmed the news.
In a social media post, he vowed to “destroy” Poirier. He wrote: “The fight is booked! July 10th you’re gonna [sic] see what the Mac is about. Adjust and absolutely fucking destroy!”

The news does not come as a big surprise to fight fans but some had speculated that McGregor's next fight would be against Nate Diaz, who he has also lost and won against in previous meetings.
He had been engaged in a back and forth with his former rival on Twitter in the last few days.
There is more mutual respect between McGregor and Poirier but the Dubliner will be eager to return to winning ways in July.
