Gordon Elliot will be hoping to clinch his fourth Plate victory in five years with four runners in the main event.
However, the bookies' favourite, Galvin has been ruled out with a bruised foot, marking a huge blow to Elliot's hopes of claiming the €200,000 prize.
Joesph O'Brien will also be hoping for a look-in with Early Doors, owned by JP McManus.
The Tote Galway Plate is due to run at 6.45pm.
