Kerry proved too much for Tyrone as they were 0-18 to 1-11 winners in the Division One clash in Killarney.

Kerry made four changes from last weekend's defeat to Dublin, and took a 0-11 to 0-6 lead into the break, with Seán O'Shea and David Clifford impressing.

Kerry continued their momentum into the second half, with Clifford scoring eight points to get their third league win of the season.

Tyrone scored the only goal of the game through Ciaran Daly, but are now in a relegation battle with just two wins so far.

In Clones, Galway were 3-12 to 0-14 winners away to Monaghan to ease their fears of relegation.

Three first half goals from John Maher, Rory Cunningham and Cathal Sweeney in the space of 11 minutes helped them to a 3-4 to 0-7 lead at the interval.

Monaghan failed to recover from this setback, as Galway kept the scoreboard ticking in the second half to run out comfortable winners.

In Division Two, Donegal kept up their unbeaten start with a 1-17 to 0-15 win at home to Louth.

Patrick McBrearthy scored eight points as they remain top of Division Two, with Louth in seventh.

Donegal are likely to be joined in  promotion by Armagh, who remain second after a 0-15 to 0-11 win over Fermanagh.

Meanwhile, Cork picked up a vital 2-15 to 3-9 win over Kildare to boost not only their survival odds, but also participation in the All-Ireland.

Kildare however, remain bottom with zero points.

In Division Three, Down look set to be promoted from Division Three after  2-17 to 1-8.

They are joined at the top by Westmeath, wo defeated 0-13 by 0-9.
