As Ireland rounded off their November internationals with victory over Australia, Jordan Larmour continued where he left off with another try for Leinster in their win over Ulster.
Injury came at the wrong time for the Leinster winger, who has started the season well for Leo Cullen's side, as he returned to help the province to a 27-20 win in Belfast.
2024 has been a year where Larmour reminded us all of his quality, making his return to the Ireland squad and started the game which Ireland won the Six Nations against Scotland.
With the Six Nations only two months away, makes his return to the side is a huge motivation ahead of the start of a busy period with Leinster.
"It has been a good start to the season, obviously a bit frustrating picking up a bit of an injury, anytime you get injured it is never ideal timing.
"Everyone wants to play for Ireland, I want to play for Ireland. You have got to perform week in, week out, be yur best all the time in order to get an opportunity to do that.
"I am just going to keep my head down, keep worin as hard as I can, and try back up good performances."
The 27-year-old was speaking as Leinster get their Champions Cup campaign away to Pat Lam's Bristol, who are second in the Gallagher Premiership.
In the build up to the game, much of the attention has been on new signing Jordie Barrett, who is set to make his debut from on Sunday.
The experienced New Zealand player has signed on a short-term deal from the Hurricanes until the end of the season.
Having spent some time training with the All Black, Larmour has been impressed by what he has seen.
""He's been great. First training today with everyone, so everyone has been trying to get him up to speed as quick as possible. He's been doing really well.
"He's obviously an unbelievable player, he's world class so it would be pretty cool, hopefully, to play a lot with him this season and learn from him through his experience, his knowledge and everything he's done in the game."
