One of the biggest fights in the history of women's boxing takes place overnight as Katie Taylor takes on Amanda Serrano in a rematch of their thriller in 2022.

That night in Madison Square Garden, it was Taylor who defended her lightweight belts on split-decision.

Tonight, in the AT&T Stadium in Texas, they will be competing for Taylor's super-lightweight titles, in the co-main event to Jake Paul v Mike Tyson.

Taylor comes into the fight after a year away from the sport, following her majority decision win over Chantelle Cameron in the 3Arena.

In what should be the best fight on a card nobody can wrap their head around, here is all you need to know ahead of the action tonight.

When is Katie Taylor v Amanda Serrano?

Katie Taylor v Amanda Serrano will likely start at 3am Irish time, with the main card starting at 1am.

How can I watch the fight?

The fight will be shown live on Netflix, in what is a first for the streaming service.

Who else is on the card?

In a sentence that still seems insane to type, the main event will see Jake Paul take on Mike Tyson.

Since making his move to boxing, Paul has wins over former MMA fighters in Tyron Woodley, Ben Askren and Nate Diaz.

He has now moved on to a former boxing champion who is 58-years-old,  in Mike Tyson. For fans of boxing who may have never seen Tyson live, this provides that opportunity.

Unfortunately, it is against someone over 30 years younger than him.

Elsewhere on the card, Mario Barrios (29-2) faces Abel Ramos (28-6-2) for the WBC welterweight title, while Shadasia Green (14-1) takes on Melinda Watpool (7-0) for the women's WBO super middleweight title.

Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano form guide

Since their first fight in 2022, the rematch has been a long time in the making.

Taylor's next fight saw her win against Karen Elizabeth Carabajal in October 2022, with her sights firmly on Serrano, and in Dublin.

However, as problems ran into making a fight in Croke Park, Serrano pulled out due to injury, and up stepped Chantelle Cameron, as Taylor stepped up in weight, but suffered her defeat in May 2023.

Taylor bounced back last November to become a two-weight undisputed champion. At 38, and a year away from the sport, there is some questions as to how Taylor will come into this, but she is confident the time away done her no harm.

For Serrano, she has had five consecutive wins since their first fight.
