Dundalk 2-2 Waterford
Dundalk remain without a win in their last three games in the League of Ireland Premier Division.
Vinny Perth’s side had to come from 2-0 down to salvage a 2-2 draw at home to Waterford. Matt Smith and Kurtis Byrne had John Sheridan’s side in control, before Ali Coote was sent-off.
Dundalk levelled through Pat Hoban and an injury-time equaliser from Daniel Cleary.
The defending champions are seven points off top spot, with a game more played than Shamrock Rovers.
Cork City 3-0 Sligo Rovers
Cork moved above Sligo with a comfortable home victory. The 3-0 win sees them leapfrog Sligo and move into eighth place, one point ahead of their rivals on seven points.
However, Sligo do have a game in hand.
A Deshane Dalling goal put Cork ahead in the 35th minute and a crucial three points was sealed when a Kit Elliot penalty doubled their lead with 15 minutes to go.
Ricardo Dinanga put the icing on the cake with a third goal in the fourth minute of additional time.
