A late try for Bayonne saw Munster draw their opening game of the Champions Cup.
Rémy Baget went over with four minutes to go to snatch a point at Thomand Park, with a final score of 17-17.
Full-time here in Thomond Park and it finishes all level.
Shay McCarthy and Gavin Coombes scored our tries with Jack Crowley kicking 7 points.

Earlier, Ulster lost in the European Champions Cup against Bath 37-14.
Billy Burns and Nathan Doak were the try scores for the Northern province.
At the same time, French champions Toulouse swatted away Cardiff, winning 52-7.
Earlier, Exeter came away from Toulon with a narrow 19-18 victory.

Soccer
Manchester United lost to Bournemouth in the Premier League this afternoon.
They were beaten 3-0 at Old Trafford.
It was Wolves 1 Nottingham Forest 1 after the final whistle at Molineux.
Simon Adingra gave Brighton a point at home to Burnley where it ended 1-1/
And Sheffield United won 1-0 at home to Brentford.
Earlier, Mohamed Salah scored his 200th Liverpool goal - and 150th in the Premier League - as they beat ten-man Crystal Palace 2-1.
Harvey Elliott struck a 90th minute winner after the hosts had Jordan Ayew sent off at Selhurst Park.
It takes the Merseysiders top - although Arsenal will replace them at the summit with victory at Aston Villa this evening.
Kick off at Villa Park is at 5:30pm.
Wexford FC Women have announced Hugh Strong as their new manager.
The former Shelbourne under 19 coach takes over following a disappointing season for the South East side when they finished 7th in the Women's Premier Division.
Swimming
It has already been a busy day for the Irish swimmers at the European Short Course Championships in Romania.
Daniel and Nathan Wiffen have both booked their places in tomorrow's 800-metre freestyle final.
Ellen Walshe recorded a fourth placed finish in the 100-metre butterfly final.
She has also gone in the individual medley decider which is just underway
The Dublin woman is back in the pool for the 50-metre butterfly semi-final at 5:40pm.
Danielle Hill finished 6th in the 100-metre backstroke final and picked up an Irish record of 57.56 in the process.
Max McCusker and Shane Ryan will look to book their spots in the final of the men's 100-metre freestyle at 5:30pm.
John Shortt goes in the semi-final of the 200-metre backstroke just before 6pm.
Victoria Catterson finished 12th in the semi-finals of the 200-metre freestyle
Her time of 1:55.94 was enough to break her own Irish senior record.
Golf
Leona Maguire and Lucas Glover are just one shot off the lead ahead of the second round of the Grant Thornton Invitational.
The mixed gender tournament saw the Irish woman team up with the American and shoot a 57 in their opening 18 holes.
They get their second round underway just after 5:30pm where they'll start one stroke behind leaders Tony Finau and Nelly Korda.
