In the 3pm kick-offs, Aston Villa played out a 1-1 draw against Brentford and Liverpool beat Nottingham Forest 3-2.

Leicester took a 2-1 win over Wolves, while Crystal Palace and Everton's meeting ended in a draw.

In the FA Cup, Manchester City beat Sheffield United 3-0 in the FA Cup semi-final.
