It is six defeats in seven games for Ulster after they went down at the death by 7-3 in the Heineken Champions Cup clash with La Rochelle tonight.

Earlier Munster survived a second half fightback from Northampton and remain on course for the knockouts.

It finished 27-23 at Thomond Park.

Munster led 24 to 0 at half-time but lost Jack O' Donoghue to a red card after 22 minutes.
