Toulouse turned the tables on Ulster and dramatically booked their place in the Heineken Champions Cup quarter-finals by beating their 14-man opponents 30-23 at the Kingspan Stadium to seal a 50-49 aggregate win.

Earlier, Munster beat Exeter 26-10 in their Champions Cup last 16 second leg.

The Southern Province needed to win by six to reach the next round, and they duly did so, beating the 2020 champions.

Tyrone have successfully begun the defence of their Ulster Senior Football title with a 2-17 to 2-10 away win against Fermanagh this evening.

Wexford and Galway played out a thrilling draw to kick off the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship. Lee Chin scored four points in added time to leave it 1-19 a piece.

Kilkenny have dominated Westmeath in their Leinster hurling clash, beating the Lake County by 5-23 to 1-19. TJ Reid, Michael Carey, Billy Ryan, Walter Walsh and James Maher scored the goals for the Cats.

There's around ten minutes to go at Parnell Park where Dublin are taking on Laois. The latest score is Dublin 0-16 Laois 1-11. Mark Dowling raising the green flag for the visitors.

In the Joe McDonagh Cup, there was late late drama as Antrim beat Offaly in added time. Both side raised green flags in stoppage time with Antrim coming out on top 3-22 to 2-24.

Carlow have beaten Meath by 4-30 to 0-17.Earlier, Down beat Kerry in their group game by 1-19 to 0-18.

Soccer

Liverpool have beaten Manchester City 3-2 at Wembley to reach the FA Cup final.

Jurgen Klopp's side were 3-0 up at half-time, and held off a second half fightback to progress. They'll meet the winner of tomorrow's second semi-final between Chelsea and Crystal Palace in next month's showpiece.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored the 50th hat-trick of his club career as Manchester United edged past bottom side Norwich 3-2 in the Premier League.

Dean Smith's side, who are seven points from safety, had fought back from 2-0 down before Ronaldo's free-kick sealed victory for the hosts at Old Trafford.

Watford plunged further into relegation trouble after conceding deep into stoppage time to lose 2-1 at home to Brentford.

In the race for Champions League qualification, Tottenham's 1-0 home defeat to Brighton gave Arsenal the chance to go level with them in fourth place. However, Mikel Arteta's side didn't take advantage - losing 1-0 at Southampton.

Golf

Harold Varner the Third has moved into the lead at the RBC Heritage event on the PGA Tour. He's on 11 under par one shot ahead of overnight leader Patrick Cantlay who is one-under after eight today.

Shane Lowry is into a tie for third as he's five-under-par playing the last, nine-under all round.

He's just two shots off the lead alongside Erik Van Rooyen (Roin) and Hudson Swafford.

Graeme McDowell shot his second 66 of the tournament to move to five-under after three rounds and into a tie for 26th.

Stephanie Meadow is in a share of fourth place ahead of the final round of the Lotte Championship this evening.

She'll tee from six-under-par with Hyo Joo Kim holding a three shot lead at 10-under.

Leona Maguire is three-under for the day and three over for the tournament.

Snooker

Last year's beaten finalist Shaun Murphy is taking on Stephen Maguire in the first round of the World Snooker Championship. They're tied at two frames a piece.

Defending champion Mark Selby leads Jamie Jones by eight frames to four. The first to 10 will progress to the next round.
