Chelsea will hope to end their poor recent form against Liverpool in this afternoon's EFL Cup final.

The London side haven't won any of their last eight meetings.

Kick off in London is at 3pm and Cork native Caoimhin Kelleher will be in goals for Liverpool.

Premier League

There's just one game in the Premier League this afternoon.

Wolves entertain bottom side Sheffield United at 1.30pm.

Scottish Premiership

Celtic need a win today if they're to keep up the pressure in the Scottish Premiership title race.

Brendan Rodgers' side are away to Motherwell where they trail 1-0 at half-time.

Should the result stay like this Rangers would remain five points clear at the top of the table.

Gaelic games

Football

Derry are looking to keep up their good run of form in the Allianz National Football League this afternoon.

They're away to Galway in Division 1 with throw in at Pearse Stadium at 1.45pm.

At the same time Roscommon take on fellow relegation-fighting Monaghan at Dr Hyde Park.

Elsewhere there's a full round of fixtures in Division 2 this afternoon.

League leaders Armagh and Donegal clash in the pick of the games at 3pm.

Before that at 2pm, Fermanagh host Cork, Cavan travel to Louth and Meath come up against Kildare.

Hurling

Three games are down for decision in the Allianz National Hurling league Division 1A today.

Cork welcome Waterford to Pairc Ui Chaoimh at 3.45pm.

Before that, Clare visit Wexford and Kilkenny face Offaly at 1.45pm.

In Division 1B Antrim have welcomed Galway to Corrigan Park where they've just thrown-in.

Rugby

There's one game in the Six Nations this afternoon.

France host Italy in Lille from 3pm.
