Other tries for Leinster came from Jordan Larmour, Sam Prendergast, and Josh van der Flier. Prendergast scored four conversions.
Max Lahiff and Gabriel Ibitoye got the tries for the home side, with Janse van Rensburg scoring one conversion.
Earlier today, Ulster got their European season underway with a trip to Toulouse where they lost 61-21.
Premier League
Chelsea have moved four points behind Premier League table leaders Liverpool after a 4-3 victory over Spurs on Sunday evening.
Goals from Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski saw Spurs go 2-0 ahead within the first 12 minutes, but Chelsea brought it back with goals from Jadon Sancho, Cole Palmer, and Enzo Fernández to win 4-3.
Son Heung-min pulled another goal back for Spurs deep into injury time, but it was too late.
Both of Palmer's goals came from penalties, with one in the 61st minute and one in the 84th.

Earlier on Sunday, Arsenal missed the chance to narrow the gap between them and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table to four points.
The Gunners drew 1-1 at Craven Cottage after Fulham neutralised their attacking threat with relative comfort and took a deserved lead through Raul Jimenez.
Arsenal got a goal back through William Saliba in the 51st minute, but could not add any more to the tally.
Elsewhere, Leicester produced a grandstand finish to rescue a point in a dramatic 2-2 draw with Brighton and continue their promising start under Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Leicester fell 2-0 behind thanks to goals from Brighton's Tariq Lamptey and Yankuba Minteh, but two late minute goals from Jamie Vardy and Bobby De Cordova-Reid meant the sides drew.

Nick Griggs won silver at the under-23 European Cross Country Championships in Turkey this morning.
The Tyrone man finished behind defending champion Will Barnicote and ahead of another British runner David Stone.
It sees Griggs add to his gold and silver under-20 European medals.

Tyrone's Errigal Ciarán have come out on top against Down's Kilcoo in the Ulster senior football decider.
The game came down to one point, with Errigal Ciarán claiming the title with a scoreline of 1-08 to 0-10 in their favour.
Dr Crokes have claimed a ninth Munster senior football crown after they came out on top against Loughmore Castleiney of Tipperary in Mallow on Sunday afternoon.
The AIB Munster Club Senior Football Championship Final saw a scoreline of 0-15 to 1-6 in Dr Crokes' favour.
Kilkenny took on Wexford in the Leinster junior hurling final with St Lachtain's and Liam Mellows facing off.
The 2024 AIB Leinster Junior Club Hurling Championship Final was a tight match, with St Lachtain's coming out on top by just one point.
The final scoreline there was St. Lachtain's: 3-8 (17), Castletown Liam Mellows: 2-10 (16).
