US Open

Rory McIlroy is in a good position as he attempts to end his Major drought.

He's two shots off the lead during the final round of the US Open having fought back to five under par after opening with a birdie.

Leader Bryson DeChambeau still leads on seven under.

Shane Lowry is level thru 10 holes today and is back to five over par with Tom McKibbin now back on eight over.

Meijer Classic

Stephanie Meadow is level par through 14 holes of her final round of the Meijer Classic, leaving her on four under par for the week.

Leona Maguire is also up to three under par in her title defence.

American Ally Ewing has now taken the outright lead on 17 under par.

Gaelic games

All-Ireland Football Championship

Dublin have seen themselves straight through to the All-Ireland quarter-finals after playing out a 0-17 to 0-17 draw against Mayo at Dr Hyde Park.

The result put Dessie Farrell's side top of Group 2, while Mayo will now go on to the preliminary quarter-finals, where they'll face either Derry, Monaghan or Cork.

Earlier, Galway and Armagh played out a 0-15 to 1-12 draw at Markievicz Park.

In the 3pm kick-offs, Kerry beat Louth 2-21 to 1-10, and Monaghan bested Meath 1-17 to 1-14.

The preliminary quarter-final draws will be made on Monday.

Tailteann Cup

Laois secured passage to the semi-finals stage of the Tailteann Cup with a 2-11 to 0-12 win over Kildare.

They'll join Down, Sligo and Fermanagh, who all progressed on Saturday after wins against Wicklow, Limerick and Antrim respectively.

Soccer

It's day three of Euro 2024, with England kicking-off their tournament against Serbia.

Gareth Southgate's men got a 1-0 win after Jude Bellingham netted in the 13th minute.

Earlier, the Netherland's beat Poland 2-1 in Group D, and Denmark drew 1-1 with Croatia in Group C.
