Kilkenny have defeated Clare 1-25 to 1-22 in the All-Ireland hurling semi-final.

Goals came from Eoin Cody and Shane O'Donnell as it's a repeat of the 2022 final as Kilkenny will face Limerick in two weeks time in Croke Park.

Cork defeated Kilkenny 2-14 to 2-13 in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship quarter-final.

Derry are this year's All-Ireland minor football champions.

They've beaten Monaghan 1-13 to 9 points in this afternoon's final in Armagh.

Rugby

Ireland are through to the World Rugby Under-20 Championship final.

Richie Murphy's side beat hosts South Africa 31-12 in the last four this afternoon.

They'll face France next after they beat England 52-31 in their semi-final.

Former Scotland captain Stuart Hogg has announced his immediate retirement from rugby.

He previously said he'd hang up his boots after this year's World Cup, but has brought the decision forward due to strain on his body.

The former Glasgow and Exeter full back played 100 times for his country and represented the British and Irish Lions on three tours.

Golf

Clare amateur Aine Donegan is level-par after one hole of her final round at the US Women's Open.

That leaves her 4-over-par all round and in a tie for 20th.

Leona Maguire will resume from 2-over in the next few miutes.

She has a one-stroke lead over the field on seven-under-par.

Seamus Power shot a 7-under-par final round of 64 at the John Deere Classic in Illinois.

That leaves the Waterford native is 15-under-par all round, in a tie for 9th and four shots off the lead.

Tennis

Men's seventh seed Andrey Rublev has beaten Alexander Bublik 3-sets-to-2 in their last-16 meeting at Wimbledon.

Later on this evening defending champion Novak Djokovic plays Hubert Hurkac of Poland.

In the women's draw, world number one Iga Swiatek is taking on Belinda Bencic.
