Waterford's Ballygunner have progressed to the Munster senior club hurling final following an 11-point win over Loughmore Castleiney in Walsh Park.

At full-time, the scoreline stood at 1-27 to 1-16 in Ballygunner's favour.

They'll play Sarsfields of Cork in the decider after a 1-25 to 1-17 win over Clare's Feakle in the other semi-final at Pairc Uí Chaoimh.

The four quarter-finals in the Leinster club hurling championship have been decided this evening.

Castletown Geoghan of Westmeath beat Thomastown of Kilkenny by 1-25 points to 1-14 at Cusack Park.

In Newbridge, Naas of Kildare were defeated by St Martin's from Wexford by 1-15 to 13 points.

Offaly's Kilcormac Killoughey progressed after a 1-17 to 1-12 win over St Mullins of Carlow.

Dublin's Na Fianna booked their semi final spot after a 3-20 to 1-15 win over Clough Ballacolla of Laois.

In football, the re-arranged quarter-final between St Loman's of Westmeath and Castletown of Wexford is coming to an end at Lakepoint Park in Mullingar.
