15,000 tickets for the Rebels’ Fanzone at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh next Sunday were snapped up in 45 minutes.

Cork GAA says the fanzone was set up in response to the huge demand from fans who are hoping to see Cork secure a hurling title for the first time in 18 years.

The family-friendly event will be a no-alcohol zone with a big screen along with music and entertainment before and after the game.

Sinead O'Keeffe Commercial Director of Cork GAA, outlined what fans can expect.

"We advise people to come down early, take public transport when possible, enjoy the day, make it a great experience.

"Get your red jerseys on, get the flag, come up to the stadium, we will be open from two o'clock. Colm O'Sullivan will be playing the tunes before we go live for the broadcast at 2.15.

Meanwhile, in Clare, a screening of the All-Ireland final will be hosted at the Active Ennis Tim Smythe Park from 1:00pm on Sunday.

It is a ticket free, non-alcohol event, with parking open at Arás Contae an Chláir from 11am until 7pm.
