A woman has confessed to cutting off her husband’s penis during sex and flushing it down the toilet after he “cheated” on her with her teenage niece.
The 34-year-old told police she acted out of revenge after tying her partner's hands together using a pair of knickers and slashing his manhood while it was erect with a knife.
She is said to have taken a photo of the dismembered organ before getting rid of it down the loo.
The unnamed woman told officers when she handed herself in at a police station near the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo: “Good night, I’m here because I’ve just cut my husband’s penis off.”
She was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an initial release and a judge has already agreed to remand her in custody for 30 days while a full criminal investigation continues.
Her husband, who is 39, was rushed to hospital but his condition last night was not known.
The horror assault happened in the early hours of Friday morning at the couple’s home in Atibaia close to São Paulo.
Local reports said she attacked her husband on the day of her birthday after finding out he had slept with her 15-year-old niece.
She allegedly told cops she flushed the penis down the toilet to stop it being sewn back on.
In June 2021 a bar worker near Barcelona was arrested for allegedly slicing off her boss’s manhood with a knife.
The woman told officers she was trying to resist a sex attack when she contacted cops to admit to her assault.
In March the same year Spanish rapper Aaron Beltran was acquitted at a trial in the Spanish city of Zaragoza of slicing off a British flatmate’s manhood after expat teacher Andrew Breach (35) told judges he had mutilated himself.
Beltran, then 31, had been warned before his trial he could face more than four years in jail if found guilty of wounding his flatmate.
