Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to a serious road accident yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to a serious road accident yesterday afternoon.

It involved a cyclist and a silver Mercedes car and happened at around 4.30pm on the Braemor Road in Churchtown.

The cyclist is critically ill in Beaumont Hospital.

Witnesses are asked to contact Rathfarnam Garda Station on 01-66 66 500 or any Garda station.
