Heuston Station named best in Ireland and UK
Dublin's Heuston station has been named the overall best rail station in Ireland and the UK.
The announcement was made at the 6th annual International Station Awards, which took place at the Cobh Heritage Centre in Cork last night.
The competition involved eight major railway companies from across the UK and Ireland.
Connolly Station in Dublin also collected the Best Large Station prize, ahead of Belfast's Central Station.
