Tipperary casino plan approved

An Bord Pleanála has given the go-ahead for a massive casino development in Co Tipperary.

An Bord Pleanála has given the go-ahead for a massive casino development in Co Tipperary.

The project includes an all-weather racecourse and greyhound tracks, equestrian centre and a five-star hotel and casino.

A full-size replica of the White House in Washington is also proposed for the site which is located off the M8 motorway between Dublin and Cork.

The project is subject to 32 conditions and reform of the gaming laws here to allow the casino operate.
