A massive banner designed by Irish school children is set to tour the world with a message of compassion and peace.

Over 130,000 children, from North and South, have taken part in the project.

The banner will tour Dublin, Cork, Belfast, Derry and Galway, before going to the United States.

Kevin Farrell, one of the organisers of the "Smile to the World" project, says the banner allowed children here to express their feelings on the September 11 atrocities among others.
