Connacht pull late late show on Leinster

An injury time drop-goal from full-back Martin McHugh sent Leinster crashing to their second Celtic League defeat within a week at Donnybrook last night.

It looked as though Keith Gleeson had rescued the home side in the 79th minute when he forced his way over for his second try of the game. Brian O'Meara kicked the difficult conversion to level and the home fans thought their team had stolen a draw.

However, in truth, Connacht were the better side from the start and their impressive kicking game tempted the Leinster back three in to mistakes, Elwood proved once again that he is still probably the top kicker in Ireland.

But it was McHugh who stole the glory in Donnybrook to continue his team's good form this season.
