Ireland winger Mark Kennedy has passed a medical at Wolves and will complete a £2m move to Molineux on Wednesday.

Ireland winger Mark Kennedy has passed a medical at Wolves and will complete a £2m move to Molineux on Wednesday.

Wolves will unveil the 25-year-old Republic of Ireland international as their first signing of the summer at a news conference at 12.45pm.

Kennedy has signed a five-year contract after finding himself surplus to requirements at Maine Road following the appointment of new manager Kevin Keegan.

The deal for the former Millwall, Liverpool and Wimbledon player was set up last month.

But Wolves had to wait for Kennedy to return from his summer holiday last weekend for him to have a medical and then complete the move.
