Myboycharlie is on course to make his seasonal debut in the Weatherbys Ireland Greenlands Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday.
The Tommy Stack-trained colt was a classy two-year-old, beating subsequent 1000 Guineas winner Natagora in the Prix Morny for his third success before ending the campaign by finishing third to New Approach in the National Stakes on his first attempt over seven furlongs.
The son of Danetime reverts to six furlongs at the weekend with connections eyeing the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot as his Group One target next month.
“He’s in good shape, he’s done well over the winter and we’re happy with him,” said Stack’s son Fozzy.
“You don’t have much choice with three-year-old sprinters taking on older horses. It won’t be a bad race, I think Jeremy Noseda’s horse (Soldier’s Tale) is coming over.
“There’s some rain forecast today and tomorrow. We’ll see how much we get. He’s won on soft ground, but he just wants nice ground and we’re not too worried.
“All being well he’ll probably go for the Golden Jubilee after that.”
Myboycharlie is generally available at 20-1 for the Golden Jubilee at Royal Ascot on June 21.
