Gardaí have today arrested a man in his 40s in relation to allegations of deception and theft from financial institutions.

Gardaí have today arrested a man in his 40s in relation to allegations of deception and theft from financial institutions.

The arrest was made as part of an ongoing investigation by gardaí from the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation into allegations of deception and theft from several financial institutions and individuals.

The man was arrested in the Dublin area this morning. He is being held at Irishtown garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
