Dublin - Belfast rail services suspended

Intercity rail services between Dublin and Belfast were suspended this evening following an incident on the line.

Intercity rail services between Dublin and Belfast were suspended this evening following an incident on the line.

Dundalk commuter services were also affected, but trains between Dublin and Drogheda were operating as normal.

The 16.50 Dublin - Belfast Enterprise service was involved in an incident north of Drogheda.

A spokesman for Iarnród Éireann said significant disruption to the service was expected to continue into the evening.
